Better Basics Reads 2025: Photo Highlights

 

Better Basics Reads 2025 is a wrap! From May 1 to May 13, more than 500 volunteers brought the joy of reading into 43 schools across Birmingham, Fairfield, and Bessemer. Together, we read with nearly 14,000 students and gifted each one with a new book to take home.

We're so grateful to the guest readers, partner organizations, educators, and students who made this celebration of reading unforgettable.
